The 2-star Fox Run Association, A Vri Resort Lake Lure, situated a 15-minute drive from The Right Track Toy Train Museum, offers an indoor pool as well as a fitness studio. The resort, situated within walking distance of Black Mountain, offers sauna facilities and an outdoor swimming pool.
Chimney Rock Park is a 10-minute ride from the property, and Asheville Regional airport is 55 km away. The hotel lies within 7 km of the community garden "Lake Lure Flowering Bridge".

During my Thanksgiving stay at Fox Run Association, I found the two-story condo layout to be ideal for our group of four adults. The living area was spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. What stood out the most was the beautiful stone fireplace, adding a cozy touch to our evenings. The property's serene ambiance and the sightings of wildlife made our stay truly memorable. The numerous amenities, especially the outdoor swimming pool, were enjoyed by all. I am grateful for the experience and commend the resort for providing such a great environment for our holiday retreat.
